Sober Mojo Women's Circles

The circles are hosted by me, Mags Sheridan. I'm a certified She Recovers coach, and I've been leading recovery groups since 2017. I'm also a person in recovery. My training includes neuroscience, psychological tools, and trauma-informed coaching.

As the facilitator, I open and close the circle. I may suggest a theme or read something aloud to the group. I'll invite people to share and watch the time to make sure everyone has a chance to speak. I keep the space safe for everyone with a small set of guidelines as described to the left.

Mark off the time in your diary. Minimise the distractions and noise around you, including Do Not Disturb mode on your phone and in your household. Bring a journal if you'd like to take notes. Be sure to arrive on time as the "doors" will close a few minutes past the hour.

Joining a circle is simple. Enter your email address above to register. You'll get the full schedule and the link, plus a reminder about an hour before the circle begins.

We meet on Zoom. Click the link and the software will open. You can use a phone, tablet, or computer.

The meetings use the Zoom software -- just click the link in your reminder email to join. You'll be in the "waiting room" for a moment. Make sure your profile says a name for you, not just "phone" or someone else's name. If you choose "speaker view" you can see the person who is speaking large in your window. Please keep yourself muted when someone else is talking, and unmute yourself when you're ready to respond. Choose the option "hide self view" if you are distracted by your own image.
